Lake of the Woods is producing some of the biggest walleyes of the season. Multiple 28+ inch fish have been caught this week in the protected waters of the South Shore.

**Current Conditions**
Surface temps are 60F with stable weather patterns. The big females are moving in from the lake to feed on the reefs and rock piles. Excellent opportunity for trophy hunters.

**Hot Spots**
– Garden Island: Rock reef structure in 18-22 feet
– Zipple Bay: Sand to gravel transitions
– Long Point: Deep water access near feeding flats

**Trophy Tactics**
Use large sucker minnows on quick-strike rigs for the biggest fish. Focus your efforts during low light periods. The hour before dark has been producing the largest fish.
