The muskie fishing on Lake Vermilion this summer is off the charts! Multiple fish over 50 inches have been landed by our clients in the past two weeks.

**Current Conditions**
Water temperature is 71F and the muskies are in their prime summer feeding pattern. They are relating to weed edges and rock structure in 8-15 feet of water.

**Hot Spots**
– Frazer Bay: Cabbage weed beds producing follows and strikes
– Pike Bay Island: Rock reefs near deep water
– Greenwood Bay: Deep weed edges with quality fish

**Muskie Tips**
Throw large bucktails and jerkbaits in the early morning hours. Figure-eight at the boat on every cast – over half our strikes come on the figure-eight. Heavy leader is mandatory!
