Early ice has arrived on Cass Lake and the fishing has been fantastic. We have 6-8 inches of clear ice and the walleyes are biting.

**Current Conditions**
Ice thickness ranges from 6-8 inches with another cold snap forecasted. Water temperature under the ice is 34F. The fish are in their winter patterns and relating to classic structure.

**Hot Spots**
– Cedar Point: 16-20 feet producing limits of walleyes
– Pine Beach: Deep holes holding crappies
– Allen Bay: Weed edges producing northern pike

**Ice Fishing Tips**
Set up on the break lines in 16-22 feet of water. Use glow jigs tipped with minnow heads. The early morning and evening bites have been the most productive.
